- Advise management on content, disclosure, Reg. FD compliance, timing
issues for financial and non-financial news releases.
- Draft and assist in the editing of financial releases.
- Obtain clearance from NYSE, NASDAQ or Amex, when appropriate, and
direct company's response to any clearance issues that arise.
- Manage dissemination of news releases to wire services.
- Assist in preparation and filing of Forms 8-K on news releases as
needed.
- Monitor wire service coverage for accuracy.
- Notify company when the news release becomes public information and
deliver wire service commentary to the company.
- Manage distribution of news releases to conference call, fax, e-mail
and financial mailing lists.
- Post news releases to corporate Web site.
